Opening their doors in 1985, Michael Forbes Grille was first located in Waldo before moving into Brookside, 128 W 63rd Street, in 2012.
A diamond in the city for over 100 years, the historic Brookside shops have served the community since 1919. Hundreds of business owners have started their dreams in Brookside and served thousands of customers with a friendly smile and the kind of customer service only a neighbor can provide. For almost 30 years, I’ve had the pleasure of serving as the Executive Director at the Southtown Planning Center, working with each and everyone of you. There have been many changes, challenges, and accomplishments over the years.
