HomeGrown, a daytime eatery staple in Wichita, Kansas, is scheduled to open its newest location at 338 W 63rd Street (the former Avenues Bistro space) this summer.
Offering breakfast, brunch, and lunch, HomeGrown creates thoughtful dishes and baked delights everyone is sure to love. Known for from-scratch cooking, HomeGrown prides itself on using locally produced ingredients. Favorite menu items include home-made pop tarts, avocado toast, and brunch cocktails such as their freshly squeezed orange juice mimosa. The restaurant’s mission is obvious to all who enter, cultivate kindness in the community.
“We are excited to open our first Kansas City location in the historic and well-renowned Brookside Shops,” says Owner and Founder, Jon Rolph of Thrive Restaurant Group. “At HomeGrown it is our mission to break bread together around a passion for building community with generosity, servant leadership, and a shared love for culinary creativity.” HomeGrown Brookside will also offer carry-out and delivery service.
The HomeGrown Brookside will be the first location in Kansas City, but the fourth location in total for restaurateurs Jon and Lauren Rolph. The pair currently have three HomeGrown locations in Wichita, Kansas.
