It's a Little Bit O' Blarney in Brookside for the 39th Annual St. Patrick's Day Warm-up Parade, Saturday, March 16th at 2PM, in the Brookside Shopping District.
The Brookside parade takes place each year on the Saturday before St. Patrick's Day and kicks off a spirit-filled week in Kansas City celebrating St. Patrick's Day. The Brookside Business Association and the Brookside Community Improvement District sponsor the annual event. More than 100 organizations from around the metro representing groups and families of all ages participate in this fun, family-oriented event. Parade entries march/ride in a variety of vehicles from red wagons and bikes to floats and classic cars. The entrants, music and other festivities are sure to entertain all ages. Entries include bands, drill teams, Irish dancers, bagpipers, mounted patrol, and dogs of all shapes and sizes including Irish Setters. It’s a one-of-a-kind event that you don’t want to miss!

Where: Brookside Shopping District and surrounding neighborhoods near 63rd and Brookside Plaza
Route: The parade begins at 65th and Wornall, heads north to 63rd, continues east on 63rd to Main, South to Meyer and heads West to end on Brookside Rd. Click here for map PDF.
Parking: Limited parking is available in various parking lots in and around central Brookside. Be prepared to park on a side street and walk to the parade route, take the public bus, or Uber/Lift to the event.
