Around for nearly 100 years, Brookside Barber Shop, 308 W. 63rd Street, has catered to generations of Kansas Citians. As June’s Business Highlight shows, hard work, dedication and keeping things simple is a recipe for a century’s worth of success! There are few places left these days where you don’t need an appointment. At the Brookside Barber Shop, walk-ins are welcome! Since the day they opened, no appointments have been made.
Suzanne Noland took over the shop in 1989 and has maintained the same standard as the original owners. Open Tuesday-Friday from 8am to 5:30pm and Saturday from 8am to 4:00pm, they offer haircuts to men and boys ages 1 to 100, and basic cuts for ladies and girls. A constant, loyal following has led to an expansion of more chairs and 7 barbers.
There is something special about having a timeless barber shop right in our own neighborhood. A fun and friendly staff make the experience memorable for each customer. Does your child need a haircut for school pictures? Not a problem. Stop on in, get the haircut, stop for an ice cream and make the day special for everyone.
Congratulations Brookside Barber Shop for years of success and thank you for years of dedication to Brookside!
