At Brookside Gallery and Framing, 114 W 63rd St., you can capture that special moment, piece of art or even your most precious keepsake in the most exceptional frames you’ll ever find. From the moment owner Sandra Neumann purchased the shop in 1992 from Bob Liepsner, she has considered every customer part of her family. “We care for our customers as if they are coming into our home,” shared Neumann. “We want the designing process to be fun and enriching.”
Neumann and assistant Anne Edson work side-by-side and have framed oddities such as a sugar wedding bouquet, the Olympic torch from London, a priceless kindergarten picture and even the flag from President Abraham Lincoln’s funeral. Their unique designs in framing include traditional options as well as frames with personality and attitude, i.e. American flags, skull/crossbones, motorcycles, music notes, barbed wire, tattoos and eagles. A frame with embossed leaves for your special fall memory is also available.
