The show was presented by Saint Luke’s Health System, along with sponsors from Cosentino’s Food Group, TheStar and Ink, KSHB, Mix 93.3 and the Brookside Community Improvement District. Carmen’s Café, Avenue Bistro, Michael Forbes Grille, and Cosentino’s Market were on site as food vendors while Brookside Price Chopper provided activities on Saturday and Sunday in the Children’s Activity Tent.
Printmaking artist Gillian Kemper from Oklahoma City, OK was this year’s winner of the Virginia Kellogg Best of theShow Award. Painting and Oils artist Seth Smith from Prairie Village, KS received the Best of Show in 2-Dimension and Clay artist Michael Schwegmann from Champaign, IL for the Best of Show in 3-Dimension. Special thanks are extended to the many volunteers who gave their time, muscle, and smiles during the weekend helping the artists with unloading and set-up, booth-sitting, meal delivery, litter abatement, selling t-shirts and giving out information, and “other duties as assigned.”
